I've never been called a know it all, and if I were it wouldn't be because of the speculative pseudoscience responses that pass as legitimate answers here. Know-it-alls tend to do real research, or in the very least, google when they need to answer a question. One thing that I'm sure many, maybe not most, people on this site have in common is that we have too much free time.

I think this particular site has more of we want to communicate philosophy and learn than to know. And it helps us express our thoughts of philosophies that we feel as well. The traits on this site amongst us all is that we are probably more ladies and gentleman to be hooked up in a philosophy questionaire. We might be more romantic about philosophy and seeking the truth of life as well. But I dont believe you are a know it all or you would not be asking this question of us.

I think we're like-minded people who are delighted to share our knowledge ,values and practical advice to fellow learners in the wide, wide world of the Internet via the generous host of this great Yahoo!Answers website. Even tough we have never met those askers or answers but we're gradually familiar with one another in our humble learning community in relation to the category we pay attention to. Thus, we've become friends incognito, however, there're at least a gentleman and a lady who recently sent their messages to me for more info, I really appreciate their kind mails and I expect more, do you?

With the population growing, we seem to be more and more socially isolated. With a barrage of information, our voices seem that much smaller. With the expanse of media, we get lost. This site allows us to feel that we are heard, gives us contact with others, and encourages our inquisitive nature. Plus, it makes us feel like we have some kind of authority, allowing us to feel that we are the voice of knowledge, answering someone else’s question, illuminating their life with our reply.
It is also just interesting to see what people are asking, what others are interested in, and hearing things that are often downright funny.
Traits we might share: boredom, healthy ego, curiosity, too much free time.

Site appeals because of the 'food for thought' it offers.
Know it all..... nobody is generous to donate that attribute.
It is fascinating to note that people are really eager to 'know' about life.
