I liked it as far as 'true to life' goes.
But I was so overwhelmed (heartbroken) by what I saw in the movie.
The way Jesus was treated was so upsetting to me. I literally sobbed when I left the theater and can't remember 'ever' crying like that in my whole life.
I am sure this is the best depiction as to how bad it really was for Jesus, and can't help the way it affected me.
I hope one day that Mel will do a movie of the 'Ressurection'.

That was such a great movie. It touched me so much, i cried just about all the way through it. Now if that movie does not show all people what jesus went through for our sins, i don't know what movie will. That is a perfect depiction of the bible in the vision sense. To see what happens will help us understand what we read in the good book. Keep Praying.

I liked it. I think it really showed the viewers what Christ had to go through. It was sad and hard to watch at times but I liked it because of the true message of it that everybody should know.

I thought the movie had a great truth and motive to it.......as a Christian I thought it portrayed the truth behind it well. But to say that I liked seeing it I'm not sure because it was very painful and extremely sad to watch. I was an emotional wreck afterwards, but it truly made me think of what a sacrifice he made.

I loved the fact that this film was made, but as far as liking it, no way. It's too gruesome of a reminder of the agony that Jesus went through to save our souls.
When I watched it I was literally worn out from all of the pain that Jesus endured.
It makes you appreciate our Savior more.

It is amazing to me how few people understand that the Romans were evil oppressors who tortured and executed thousands of people. Jesus of Nazareth was only one of them. Many many unknown unremembered people endured the same ordeal as Jesus and died horrible deaths at the hands of the Romans.
