Most likely they won't division so wildcard is the only hope. And there is only two spots.

The remaining schedule they have will probably give them 2 more wins since I don't see them winning on the road over Denver and Seattle. But home games against GB and AZ is certainly doable, although, I think the AZ game will be though.

With 4 teams 1 game ahead of them, most likely one of those will get in even though all four teams have tough schedule the last 4 games...I bet Atlanta or Giants. And there are two more teams with the same record. One being the Vikings who beat them earlier this year so they have the head to head, and it has a very schedule the last 4 games. Probably will win 3 out of the 4 games.

Of course, anything can happen, that's why we play the game. But I don't see the Niners going to the playoffs.

I have been a life long fan of the Niners and I am quite surprised of their performance this year, but I have to say no. Mike Nolan and Norv Turner have done an amazing job with that team but the lack of talent on D will screw them over in the end. Smith is still not the playoff caliber QB but he is well on his way there. I feel they have the offense to win in the NFC but D is the problem.

It's 50/50 against Seattle because the only way for the ninersto make it is the Seahawks get in a slump and the niners get wins. It's simple. They have an improved offense this season, no doubt, but Seahawks need to lose a lot of games in order for them to make it.

i don't see the 9'ers making the playoffs this year. i figure with their remaining schedule, the best they are gonna' finish is 7-9. this would mean that the chiefs, broncos, giants, eagles, falcons, and panthers would all have to finish UNDER .500 in order for the 9'ers to just make it in as a wildcard team. NOT LIKELY.

Not if the Seahawks win and the 49ers lose this weekend.

Seems there are only a few good teams this year and quite a few average teams so yeah, they have a shot at a Wildcard.

think playoffs for your niners next year. they aren't getting there this year even though the nfc west is horrible.

and be glad you aren't scheduled against dallas. you'd be embarassed.

im from chicago and im a bears fan, but i was pulling for the niners. but they wont make it for 2 simple reasons, a tough schedule and heartbreaking losses.
