Some U.S. cities are known to fix potholes very quickly, while in others potholes take months to be fixed and almost become landmarks ("the gas-station? oh, just turn right at the third pothole....")..

What was the longest-lived pothole you've ever seen?

Haven't seen it, but right now there are potholes that will swallow grocery carts In New Orleans that haven't been fixed since Hurrican Katrina... (the media in New Orleans covers it in detail)

Actually in New Orleans, it will always have pot holes.but some have said to be there a few years...

In Mexico, all of the potholes are permanent.
