I have a guitar, and lessons, and my mother is incharge of keybored, and I am using garage band.

Have a jam session party some weekend - you must either be or bring a musician to the party - circulate the info at school - check the marching band drummers, some of them have complete kits at home, lots of people have guitars - saxes, trumpets, trombones, keyboards (face it your mom ain't gonna make the final cut) you might be surprised what you come up with.
Don't forget the vocalists!

You're probably not going to find them in the newspaper. Go to the guitar store and look at the bulletin board there.
