it seems like reality shows like "survivor" in which people are eliminated try so hard to stay on just one more day or one more round whatever the case may be, even though they know that they will most likely be eliminated in the following round. what is the point of trying to stay on the next one if you know that most likely you'll be eliminated afterwards unless, they are being paid for the length of time they are officially in the game? and what about like all star shows? are they paid for their participation?

Yes, they get paid a certain amount for each week they are there...not alot, but it is equivalent to what they would make at their own jobs plus a little extra for being on the show...without them, there woouldn't be a show...I know this because my friend was on Big Brother...
