My computer tells me that the sentence, "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood is believed to be fabricated.", is in a passive voice. How can I change it to an active voice?

The reason the computer states your sentence is in "passive voice" is because there is no subject associated with the verb "is believed". Believed by whom? Answer that question in your sentence and you will solve part of the problem. You will also need to place the object doing the verb in the subject of the sentence. If you place it in the predicate it will still be passive voice.
eg.
Active Voice
----------------
Many people believe "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" to be fabricated.
Passive Voice
-------------------
"The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" are believed to be fabricated by many people .

First, answer the question, "What is the verb of this sentence?"
In this case, it is "is believed."
Second, "Who is doing the action?"
In this case, who is believing? Experts? People? The general public? Scientists?
Now that you know both, you can rewrite your sentence.
The general public believes that "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" is a fabrication.
Passive: The fish is caught by James. Active: James caught the fish.
Passive: He was bitten by the snake. Active: The snake bit him.
Passive voice: Something is "being done" by something or someone.
Active voice: Someone/somethign is doing something.
