Get rid of Isiah, at least as the team president. He's a lousy exec and shouldn't be running a team.

Try to get rid of players like Marbury, Francis, Richardson and their killer contracts so they can free up money to sign quality free agents. And don't then turn around and overpay a bunch more marginal players hoping for a quick fix, since that's what's gotten them in the hole they're in now. Build for tomorrow, put together a team that can attract good free agents 2 or so years down the line.

VP is right, though, Isiah Thomas does know how to draft well, put him in charge of that and player development, but keep him away from the payroll.

And find a way to get Dolan to sell the team to a good owner.

I mean it would be really tough to start because the Knicks suck to begin with. First, fire Isiah Thomas and hire some assistant coach from the Miami Heat. Why? Look at the New York Jets with Eric Mangini. They hired him from the 3 time Super Bowl winning New England Patriots and the Jets are now 7-5 with him. Then, cut Marbury, Francis, and Crawford because they are the biggest ballhogs in the league. Even if they are the stars of the team, their not leading them anywhere. They're just on the Knicks for the fame and money. When they cut or trade them, get first round picks. The past 2 drafts havent been so bad for the Knicks, drafting Lee, Robinson, Frye, and Balkman. Speaking of those 4, they should be starting when they cut the 3 stars. Nate Robinson should run the point guard position, Quentin Richardson should run the shooting guard, David Lee runs the small forward, Channing Frye (when healthy) should run the Power Forward, and Eddy Curry running the center. That would be the best situation for the Knicks because, otherwise, they wont have a good team for the next 10 years. Also, with the first round picks they get for Marbury, Francis, and Crawford, they should draft a shooting guard and a power forward or a center.

i would get rid of Crawford an marbury i guess the $15 shoes don't work very well ....the way he has been playing this season. i think the first player they should get rid of is Jerome James his contract is huge and he has not played for us at all ..i know he's hurt but he makes to much money just by sitting on the bench.i don't blame Thomas because the knicks had or still has the highest paying contracts even before Thomas came to the team. i think the knicks need to get rid of their owner James Dolan because obviously he can't hire anything good in the top positions for this team. but i still love this team .... I'm glad the fans are booing them at games to put some pressure on them to make a change.. but firing Thomas is not going to make this team any better and if anyone followed Thomas when he was the GM on other teams they should know he didn't do nothing for them either and the teams got better when he left

1: Use Marbury to exchange for other player. Obviously, Marbury's role is exactly the same as Steve Francis. Compare with each other, I think Francis is better.

2: Shift their offence stag from Guard to Forward. Their forward is really powerful, esp Q. Richardson. The scoring duty should be put on him.

3: Change the jersey. Their jersey must be classiflied as one of the worst NBA jersey. Change other color and increase the spirit.

Get rid of Marbury, Francis, and Crawford, who are all overpaid players. I would start over with the team, build it around young players from the draft. Isiah Thomas is a very good drafter so I would build the number of future draft picks. Thomas' problem is he builds his team for now and not the future and makes the mistake in overpaying for his players.

Fire Isiah...his idea of building a team around guards (like Detroit did with Vinny, Dumars and Him) is not working. Replace him with a hands-off type a general manager. Hire a championship caliber coach and let him build a team based on the coach's philosophy. If you had to start over and get rid of everyone, I would.

I would get rid of Thomas from the front office and then get rid of all those guards he signed. For some reasons Thomas likes to sign good, high paying whiners.

Can Thomas. Ship out all those overpaid, underachieving cry babies (Marbury, Francis, Q) and rebuild.

Everyone is overanalyzing this question.

Send them to the WNBA, they have a chance to win there.
