I will be landing at 7:35am (on a friday) in Ft Lauderdale,FL and will need transportation to South Beach. My checkin time is after 2pm. Any suggestions on what to do? I will be there for three days. Is there anything intresting to do or see for 3 days? Thanks ahead of time!

go eat the the old rustic inn in ft lauderdale the best crabs in the world as far as I'm concerned and then go to the beach and walk and go eat at the cheesecake factory.

You are about to find out that most of the $$ you saved flying into FLL instead of MIA will be expended on transport to Miami Beach. A car is a burden on SoBe & with only three days you really don't need one unless you want to take a day trip somewhere. In that case rent one for the day. On the other hand renting a car at FLL will solve your transport problem; but leave you with a big parking bill.

Yes, rent a car, visit the Vizcaya, Seaworld, hit the beach. As far as eating, try stone crabs, in season. Shopping. Lincoln Mall.
