If you are absent from Canada for 48 hours or more you can declare up to 1Litre of 40% alcohol Duty Free, provided you are within the allowed dollar amount of duty free goods.

If you are visiting Canada, you can bring in 1Litre of 40% alcohol Duty Free provided you are consuming it here.

In reality you can bring 5 cases of Tequila if you wish, but you must declare it, and pay the duties. I've brought in over a case of spirit once, declared it and paid the duties.

I just checked the government website and found this.
"You can bring in more than the free allowance of alcohol except in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. However, the quantities must be within the limit set by the province or territory where you will enter Canada. If the value of the goods is more than the free allowance, you will have to pay both customs and provincial or territorial assessments. For more information, check with the appropriate provincial or territorial liquor control authority before coming to Canada."

people are lacking the element announcing that the deposit could be extra beneficial to sell recycling. The carbon footprint that this industry leaves in the back of is unacceptable, particularly thinking the environmental stressful circumstances we are dealing with right now. each and all of the supplies and ability that's getting used, or could I say wasted to sell clientele fairly what they are already getting out of there faucet is ridiculous. the full potential of packaging, delivery, merchandising, and then recycling the leftover bottles is absurd. a minimum of the small 500 ml bottles could be banned. i comprehend it somewhat is handy yet at what fee? and that i understand i'm in command of it as properly, and that i kick myself each and every time I do it by using fact of each and every of the waste that's left over, I even have put in a water filter out below the sink and am very happy with the outcomes from it. I drink distinctive water and the only reason I filter out it somewhat is using the fact all our water right here is extremely stressful so subsequently we could desire to melt it, which regrettably would not style very effective. i'm hoping it does get a countrywide ban, people will discover different possibilities to having pre crammed plastic bottles. i understand at artwork I merely have a 500 ml bottle that I save refilling from the great water cooler that's provided for us. i'm hoping this promotes a transformation for the extra beneficial.
