properly there are 2 techniques: graphing it on a calculator or only plugging in factors then connecting the dots. For the first situation, that is in elementary words typing interior the parts. For the 2d, you want to enter: log x/log 8 - 2

Well there are two ways: graphing it on a calculator or simply plugging in points then connecting the dots.

For the first problem, it is just typing in the parts.

For the second, you need to input: log x/log 8 - 2
