deer in a "deer x-ing" posted area on the road? I didn't even know they could read.

No, I haven't. And I hit one, once, in Minnesota, and she was no where near the crossing. Made me furious. Ruined a 72 Riviera. And didn't hurt the dang deer. She took off! I had cops and game wardens all over looking for her - I hated the thought that she could be hurt and in pain somewhere.

The deer crossing sign isn't for the deer. The deer don't need to be reminded that they cross there.

no... i havent seen dear in the deer xing, people in the people xing, ducks in the duck xing, or deaf kids in the deaf children playing, but i did see some one riding their horse across the street to a barn near a people riding their horse xing sign...weird...
ive never seen a horse sign anyplace else
and the deer could read them if they slowed down. not ducks though, too low to the ground, poor eyesight.

Yep, I pass by them everyday. There's alot of signs all over the place where I live.
