Everytime I walk, and the moment my feet "bends" to make me walk, There's a very sharp single needle like pain on my feet's palm. Not on the toes or the heels, but in the middle. Anyone know what might be causing this, what the actual term is called (if there is) and how I can make it go away? (This isn't the first time I had it...) It's not deathning painful that I need to go to the doctor, it's just bothering me I guess.

this might simply be caused by improper footwear and more specifically arch support. if you don't wear the right supportive shoes it may cause extra stress on the ligaments that run down ur feet causing the sharp needle point pain on the middle of your foot (even when you're not wearing those shoes anymore).

consider insoles - they may feel really uncomfortable at first and may even cause a couple blisters, but it will help you in the long run

Does your foot hurt more the first thing in the morning and slowly subside throughout the day as you walk more? If so, you may have a case of plantar fasciaitis. The fibrous band that makes up the so called "palm" of the foot can become inflammed. It can be quite painful. Go see your physician and get a script for physical therapy. Your PT will give you a series of exercises that will deal with this problem quite efficiently. Good luck.

Sounds like Morton's Neuroma. My wife is a physical therapist and she has this same affliction. The best solution is probably orthotics. Also, try walking with your toes spread. If the pain decreases when walking like this, it is DEFINITELY Morton's Neuroma.

Ms Merlin's answer is GREAT, But you also need to see a orthopaedic sports medicine specialist. If you have torn any muscle tissue or ligaments a in-sole wont help.... and continued strain will only make matters worse.

Could be planters warts, they don't always raise a bump at first.

I think it's more likely you have stress fractures though. Just have a doc take a quick look; if he's worth his salt he can you something.
