anything greasy will work to dissolve the glue. I prefer not to use wd40 on anything I am going to leave in my house, and really not from something I am going to drink from.
I would try vaseline. rub some on it and let it sit over night. should lift right off the next day, with out any strain or scratching involved. the glue should roll up into a ball.

When I have a sticker problem Rubbing Alcohol works every time. You can get a bottle at the Dollar Store for 80 cents. I wouldnt use anything sharp like a blade or SOS Pad since it can scratch up your glass, Some elbow grease and a sponge should be fine.

First, you need to carfully, score the paper.Use a straight edge razor blade, and just scape the paper to allow water to get behind. Than soak in hot, hot, hot, water for a couple of hours. After you have taken what paper you can off of them, use an adheasive remover. There are several at the harware store. What I would recomend is,"Adheasive Remover" It's made by Savinong, (I'm not sure I spelled that right) If they don't have it you could use, Finger nail polish remover,(Acitone)or lighter fluid,theres,"Goo-Gone", paint thinner, wd-40, lemon oil, rubbing alcohol, xylonol, Baby oil, vasiline, and many more.

Goo-Gone is the best product I've found for removing sticky residue on anything.
Just a hint - dampen the paper part of the sticker and remove as much as you can then apply Goo-Gone to the remainder. Rub it either with a soft paper towel or cleaning rag.
Works great every time!

particular! i'm a taurus so for sure i'm stubborn. that's what I do is that if my trouble-free going instructor would not furnish me a solid grade: i flow to march over to his table, shove the paper in his face, stomp my foot on the floor extremely stressful, furnish him the evil stare, and that i stay there untill he changes it.

Try rubbing baby oil on them, or any oil.
