I used to think like you, but seriuosly If you don't have any business with that person he/she won't see you.
celebrities are busy people, even normal peole like us are so busy. If I had fans today as a normal person I wouldn't have the time to see them.
my fav celeb lives in town but she's never home. everything I hear is from her relatives

I'd just wave hi and treat him/her like I treat all my other neighbors. He/She would get Christmas cards, thank you notes, and invitations to all the social events that I think they would enjoy. It's really a thing of principle; would you like someone to aggravate and annoy you every second possible?

Absolutely nothing.They get hounded by the papparazzi way too much for me to bother them.If, for some reason, they wanted to come to my house, then I would talk to them.

I would respect his/her privacy. I also think celebrities are suspicious of new friendships because they don't know if that friendship is for real.
