This could be a lot of fun for you to plan! Get a group of girlfriends and have them help you out! What sort of things are you interested in? Do you have any hobbies? Try to incorporate something from your interests into your party, if you can. Are you a girly girl? Lots of pink and purple can be fun! Bright lights, sparkle sparkle sparkle! It's really up to you. I think that dancing is a lot of fun. Do you and your friends like dancing? Trendy music is always fun.
Are you wanting to do a theme? Maybe Hawaii / Luau Night? You can get a lot of party favors and decorations from a local party store. Everyone can come in their APPROPRIATE beach attire.
My mom threw me an AWESOME sweet 16 bash with all my friends and family. There was lots of food and dancing! I say have tons of fun with it! You only turn 16 once! Make it your own! Hope you have a great time!

It depends on how much you can spend. Go for a cool theme like belly dancing or salsa so you can have everyone join in. It'd be cool if you rented out a club house or something and decorate it with your favorite colors. You know that show My Super Sweet 16 on MTV? You can get alot of ideas from there and make a more affordable one. Happy early B-Day!

Or if you must have a traditional party- do a themed 50's version of a sweet 16. Including the clothes, music & snacks.

I don't know what girls like, but for my 16th birthday, I got my father to book a small resort for me and a couple of friends to have an all-weekend pool party.
