I think it has its point, but I also think some bitter tears are shed for things that WERE done and WERE said.

Also, sometimes someone loves someone so much and is just in such pure and awful grief when they lose them the tears are the worst and most violent kind of all. They're not always about guilt or unfinished business.

Only someone who has loved so much would realize this.

It means that people usually cry the most when someone dies and they did'nt tell them that they loved them or that they were sorry and now since the person is dead they never will. Like what makes me cry the most when I think of my grandma is when I asked her to open the door for me and she kept telling me how she was in too much pain. But becuse of my impatience and because I really did not think she was in that much pain and was faking I can't pressuring her to open the door. But once I got in the house I found out she really was in pain and I felt absoltuely terrible that I just could not wait. She was enough pain as it is because of the cancer and I added to it. So from now on I have tried to learn that when people tell me something like leave them alone they have a headache I'll believe them, after all why would someone lie about pain. And I have also learned to be more patient especially to avoid situations like this.

It's all about regret. Regretting not having fixed old disagreements, not saying I love you, not spending more time with that person. IT's human nature to believe that we somehow could have done better, been better for that person who died. Part of the natural grieving process. It actually more reflects ourselves - you may regret not having said I love you, but part of you is really saying you feel abandoned.

Unfortunately when someone dies we realize the loving sweet words and actions that we didnt do, but we wish we did.

its the guilt feeling of losing the chance of sharing your feelings with them.. we cant go back in time, but we can wait for another chance, but when death steal our moment, then we'll realize how we should not let things just pass..
