my computer is fast enough but the dl speed is 10kb/s only!!!! how can i make it faster???

your download speed relies not only on your connection but the available bandwith from the server. if you are seeing your actual connection at 10kbps and not 10mbps then you have some kind of problem there cause thats dreadfully slow even for a dialup connection. reboot the modem and go to http://www.2wire.com/bandwidth/initialmeter.php
and see what your overall connection speed shows.

Definitely call your ISP and complain. It's either your phone line or you may be on the outer edge of their network. The farther your house is from one of their switches, the worse their bandwidth is. DSL runs off your phone lines so if you live in an old house, you might have to replace your phone line or get it checked out. Do you notice any clarity problems with your phones? That would be a clue. They should run a test from your location and can troubleshoot from there and let you know if the lines inside your house are the problem or the outside lines (covered by them). if there are no line problems and they decide that the bandwidth cannot improve then you may have to try an alternative like cable.

by in creasing the amount of ram you computer has we have 2 gig of ram and ours is really fast we did have 512 and it was so slow, may that will help

how far are you from the CO?? if you are closer to a CO, your ISP can increase your bandwidth.
