My husband had 2 previous marriages. His first wife had my exact name ( first and middle names). His second wife had my first name.
How unusual is this? If you are remarried to someone with the same name as your ex, why did you do it?
If you are a second spouse with the same name as the first, what are your thoughts on the matter?

I'm sorry but I would feel like he is trying to find a replacement for the first wife. That just seems a bit odd to me that all 3 of you have the same name. That would make me feel very low.

Hmmm If he just so happened to fall in love with 3 women with the same name then I'd say what a coincidence BUT if he never even dated girls with a different name then you have a problem

I've gotta admit, this case is kinda strange. Very.
But if that ever happened to me, I definitely would feel a little weird out for a while, but hey, you have gotta let it go. One thing though: There aren't a whole lot of variety in American names...Sarah, Jen, Danielle....on and on.
There is probably no reason behind those repeated names. Coincidence I guess. Don't overthink.

Maybe you just have a fairly common name? My husband had two girlfriends (over a period of time) with the same name before me...my name is different though.

Actually, both my former father-in-law and former brother-in-law have second wives with the same name as the first wives. Still waiting to see if my ex-husband marries someone with my first name.......

Sounds like your husband had a fetish for girls with the same names... My advice is to not have any friends who have the same name as you... I hope the reason you would marry any body whether they have the same name or not... that it would be because you loved them..

wow i'm a 2nd wife....but don't have this problem...{that's pretty wild though!!!} that he would keep marrying women with the same name over and over....what made you agree to marry him? Didn't you find this odd? course, at least he won't call you by the wrong name..?

hes still in love with his ex wives, so he had to find someone with the same name to try and replace her.
