I would give it my best shot. He is a decent human being, and carries a heavy weight on his sholders. With so many people filled with hate doing nothing but spewing obscenities at him, I think he would appreciate a friend. Maybe all you people filled with hate could use a friend also?

Laugh or give him a weird look, depending on what mood I were in. He probably shouldn't ask me, because if we were alone in a parking garage or something I'd be creeped out and spray him with my mace. ;)

when in courts tell that he was referring to another type of friendship not the normal good friends friendship.
