A friend of my sent her tower to be booted and it has not turned on since she got it back. we'd appreciate any answer we can get. thank you.

Try unplugging the cord "from the back of the tower" not from the wall, and reinserting it. That sometimes happens to me and for some reason that works.

If it will not turn on, it could be one of two things: either the motherboard, or the power supply. Unplug the computer for about 5 minutes. Then, press the power button. Now plug the computer back in. This will reset the system. If it doesn't work, the power supply is most likely shot.

Where r u at? if you are in michigan, send an email to trevor@ttechservices.com and tell him what the problem is and how to get a hold of you and he charges a small price to fix these things. i highly recommend him. he did a wonderful job with mine.

check if the power cord are in prefect condition, if yes then may be your power supply is burn out or your motherboard... try to check the power supply, simply open the power supply, you'd see a fuse, if you see it is burn then you got to replace a power supply...
