USAgent vs Azrael?

Ah, one second string (not to say second banana) replacement against another!

Not to mention, indirectly, the System versus the training of the Taskmaster!

Most importanlty, does Azrael have anything that can get around (not penetrate) the plain vibranium shield which is not quite as impervious as Cap's own shield...?

The Agent does have a degree of enhanced strengh, IIRC, which Azzie does not have. In hand to hand combat, I give this to the US Agent.

But at range, I favor Azrael, since he was a copy of Jim (Iron Man) Rhodes, while Stark was in the bottle. He has the more versatile array of powers, including flight, the gauntlet-mounted blasters, the whole utility belt schtick of tricks. Somewhere in there, ther's gotta be a gas bomb or a ricocheting weapon that can get around the shield and take Agent down.

I guess I have more respect for Azrael because Wayne's injuries were taken in combat while Stark gave in to his own weaknesses. And US Agent was purely a sub sent in while Cap was benched for unsportsmanlike behavior-- that is to say, for disobeying the Federal Govenrment.

Despite the conditioning of "The System" i don't think Jean Paul Valley could beat John Walker. Even though he has been known as "the poor man's Captain America" USAgent is probably a match for Azrael's combat abilities, and is possibly stronger and faster too.

both are hotheads, but i think azrael can keep better control of his temper... skill goes to azrael as well, but USAgent has superstrength... speed is probably comparable... tough one...
i find this an interesting question because you are pitting a former captain america fill-in with a former batman fill-in...
i dont normally make decisions is this manner, but i have to do so in this case... i pick USAgent because he is sort of cool, and azrael sucks A S S...
