Cause nobody really cares about the weather. Have you ever really watched the weather part if you didn't need it for the next day. The stupidly hot girl is just a way to focus your attention on that tv channel instead of just changing channels until the news are back. If it was an ungly girl, would you stick around and see her give the weather report??

Outside of the movies and tv, I have never once seen an attractive weatherperson. Nearly all the ones I've seen on various news stations in different parts of the country are elderly men, not college age girls.
