Azo won't work for a yeast infection. It is for the pain caused by urinary tract infections (which are usually bacterial).

You can buy OTC yeast medications in a variety of forms.
If a more natural remedy is preferred, *douching* with plain yogurt can help return the Ph balance back to normal.

Yeast infections can be avoided by wearing cotton underwear (let it breathe) and not douching very frequently, if at all. Oral contraceptives and antibiotics can also contribute to the problem.
Yeast infections can also be sexually transmitted!

If you are talking about a vaginal yeast infection, then NO! You need to seek medical attention. How do you know you have a yeast infection? The same symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection can also be signs of other problems. There are other over the counter remedies for yeast infections ,but I really recommend a visit to your doctor first.

A natural cure is unflavored yogurt it really works. Put it on to soothe the itch. Also if you eat 1 serving a day of any kind of yogurt it will help you from getting future yeast infections. Remember to wipe front to back after going to the bathroom and urinate after sex.
