why dont we send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS card reminding them what this season is really about. Let's remind them that it should be a christmas tree not a holiday tree. It would be the most inexpensive thing you do this christmas. What say you

You do remember the Commandment about "not bearing false witness" don't you? Because that's exactly what Christians are doing every time they post this untrue and thoroughly disproven chain letter. In your case you aren't even honest enough to acknowledge that it wasn't you who thought of it.
Inventing a lie about an organization (that the ACLU is try to ban Christmas) that you disagree with and then using that lie to propogate and encourage a harassment campaign against that organization is, ignorant, childish, and does nothing to counter the idea that Christians are a bunch of petty, spiteful bigots (which is sad, because I'd like to think that that only applies to a minority of them).
The biggest consolation of course is that you and your fellow card-sending sheeple are completely wasting your time, and hopefully in a way that keeps you indoors and out of everyone's hair until Xmas is over.

That would be awesome. Actually, last year a friend of my mom started a petition to Target. We passed it around via the internet, that's why there commercials say Merry Christmas! Glad to see that someone else is tired of "Holiday Trees", and "Holiday Ornaments"!

I say, if it's so meaningful to you, celebrate it and forget the ACLU. Stir up trouble and you make yourselves look bad. The tree isn't exclusively Christian, now that you mention it. Just enjoy your holiday. Being conservative is on the outs in case people haven't noticed.

My mother has already done that, of course with no return address for fear she'd be sued. I'm definetly in. I have a sticker on my jeep that says ACLU A******s, Communist, Liberals Union.
