oooooooo, nice one...
scorpion has the speed and strength advantage, and his tail of course makes a formidable weapon... but croc is no slouch, and he does have that animal ferocity...
i'd still go with scorpion though...
perhaps a better match-up would be the lizard vs. killer croc...

While I want to say Scorpion, I'd have to go with Killer Croc, due to his ferocity and truly evil nature. He's more "mutated" than Scorpion is, and truly lives like an animal. Killer Croc kills for the act of killing while Scorpion does his deeds for monetary gain. Simply put, Killer Croc is a bigger a.s.s. hole than Scorpion.

I'm going to have to go with Croc on this one, because I think that inherent powers are better than mechanical powers any day.
Croc would rip Scorpion's tail off. When they go 'tail to tail' (as opposed to 'head to head' which is obviously what you were thinking of) Croc would slash that mechanical tail right off Scorpion's butt!
(Otherwise, I would have agreed with the guy who said that Lizard and Croc would be a better match. But lizards SHED their tails, in order to escape getting caught, and regenerate later. That would give Lizard the long term advantage, but Croc is still tougher.)
I don't think Croc need have any respect at all for the Scorpion. He'll taste just like chicken.

Just my opinion... A feral Killer Croc would rip the Scorpion in half.... And that is assuming you meant Marvel's Scorpion (Mac Gargan).
