I think everyone can remember someone in their high school, or numerous people that Napoleon Dynamite reminds them of. He is the stereotype for the Geek, although I don't think that's just an American stereotype, I think its a universal stereotype.

Not really, but he is a stereotype of the weird guy that always sat in the back of the class drawing funny stuff, and usually only had one or two friends (like dynamite), except that kind of guy usually listened to hardcore or death metal!

stereotype of what? usually, a stereotype targets a large, specific group. Napoleon Dynamite reminds me of no group of people in particular. If he is a stereotype, I would like to know of what - and it's definetly not a stereotype of american people.

my fav is while napoleon throws that fruit at rico's van, then rico jumps out and gets napoleon in a headlock. Then Napoleon elbows him and takes to the air, jumps over the fence, and while he lands he biffs it. the reason that it is so humorous is because of the fact which you come across out in the particular effective factors that that grow to be an twist of destiny that jon heder does. It wasn't in the script for him to fall yet he did on twist of destiny and the manufacturers desperate to maintain it in there. sturdy situations

he carries a trapperkeeper for christ's sake and wears those sweat pants with a horse shirt and snow boots. yes, he is!
hahah, it's funny but everyone went to highschool with that guy. you knew someone just like him.
for once they made a movie about the group of losers instead of the group of popular kids and although it had no plot, it was brilliant.

I think it is a terrible movie...two hours of my life I can never have back...I forever curse my friend for making me sit through that steaming pile of excrement...
