I suggest you check it out with a doctor I had a similar problem and ignored it and had an operation on my wrist. It is not serious but it may be carpel tunnel's disease an inflamation of the muscles of the wrist. I was an avid tennis player when I had it so you can see the similarity we BOTH used our wrists more than usual. Good luck

It sounds as if though you may be having trouble with the cubital tunnel nerve, which runs on the outside of the arm. This is very common due to employment such as yours. Several options of treatment- You can start conservatively- take ibuprofen 400 mg. every 6 hours for 10 days. Do not miss a dose and take with food. If you have any other type of illness such as high blood pressure, an allergy to aspirin, consult with a physician before taking any medication. You can soak your hand/wrist in a soluton of 2 quarts warm water to 1 cup of epsom salts for 15 minutes, and followup with a cold water soak (without salts) for an additonal 15 minutes. Apply some type of sports cream analgesic such as ben gay, flexall 454, icy hot, etc. If you do not see any improvment after the 10- treatment, make an appt. with your physician for further evaluation.

Try 3 Ibuprophen before bed with a little food or milk. Don't worry that's not too much.(as long as you don't have an ulcer) I checked with my doctor. It will work as an anti-inflammitory, and should help. But have a doctor look at your hand. If it is carpal tunnel, it needs to be treated. Hope you feel better

Ice will ease the inflammation of your wrist. There is also a wrist ACE bandage you can use to help minimize the movement so your wrist can heal. Also check with your Dr first to see if they can recommend any meds to help with pain. And I also recommend acupuncture. I have acupuncture done and it works extremely well for pain. So you may want to try that as an alternative as well.

I like aspirin for pain, maybe you'd consider a brace.

Soak in the warmest water possible And as stupid as this may sound... try to find a real COPPER bracelet Copper absorbs the moisture that is trapped in your hand... it will keep it from swelling... I was a waiter for 12 years.... this works.... believe me.
