I had the same problem after working retail for a few years. You hear the same repetitive sound track over and over and over and over and you just get tired of the same songs by the same artists it's like torture OH DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP!!!

Christmas type Music has ALWAYS been played in the stores this time of the year......except maybe last year.

Hum along with the music. Hey, this is the season to be MERRY, not grouchy and sad.

Enjoy it!!

The only reason you may not be enjoying it is because you aren't in the Christmas spirit and that may be because you don't know what Christmas is about and you aren't a believer.

Good luck. Pops

I see what you mean, I prefer listening to my favorite Christmas CDs over what the radio usually plays. Mariah Carey singing Christmas music just doesn't do it for me. A couple of my favorites are:
Bing Crosby Christmas music.
Selah - "The Rose of Bethlehem"
and for fun.... John Denver singing with the Muppets

Are you familiar with the term "played out"? Look it up: the definition will say Holiday music after 2 weeks and Little Richard's hairdo.

Well, sing or play the music you like to hear. Turn off the radio and play the CDs or tapes, and sing along!

It probably bothers you because they play the same songs over and over again every single year. Doesn't anybody ever write new Christmas songs? Apparently not because nobody ever does.

They're playing the music thinking that people will be inspired to buy more merchandise. It's insanity.

You are on the outside of the party zone.Music is always a noise if one is not in the party but if you join in then you will be making merry and smiling.
