what is the best dance class to go to?

for hip hop, and breakdancing

for starters, have you danced before?

start in a beginner's class with people in a similiar age group as you.

Hip Hop is much more spacial-awareness based and you move around a lot more.
Breakdancing is very nit-picky. If you are not a perfectionist, this could be very difficult. if you are a perfectionist, it will drive you insane.

so it really depends- do want to be up and moving a lot or be doing slow, step by step stuff that may be harder, (in some people's opinion) but which is much more structured?

In most cities they have Hip-Hop dance classes, my neice that's 8 yrs.old takes them in Greenville SC. I'd call around.

Hip Hop...you can use it at more clubs!

Hip hop.. it's more upbeating and you can use it at clubs and parties.
