Legally...No.

Nope this is not a seperation. This is simply sleeping in different bedrooms. If either parnter wants a seperation one has to move out of the home and file for a legal seperation, then that still doesn't give them the right to go looking for sex elsewhere because until there is a final decree of divorce they are STILL legally married and in the eyes of the law sex outside of the legally marriage is considered adultery. Get the picture? If you don't want to be an adulterer you HAVE to get a divorce.

Nope. Unless you have filed for legal separation or have filed for divorce, you are still married and still owe her respect. Sounds like marriage counseling might be in the order here. There's a reason she's not into intimacy and you need to find out what that is. If she is having hormonal issues, that can very likely be the cause as can depression. You really need to communicate!

No, not really. If you're looking for an excuse to cheat, there is way more to marriage than just sex. I know that's hard to believe. Have you tried counseling or talking to find out what the problem is?
If you should find out that you will be keeping this sleeping arrangement for the rest of your married relationship, you will have to make the decision as to whether you can live without the sex.

Yes because there seems to be no kind of bond between the two of you besides that you both share the same last name. It seems that the both of you have decided that the two of you would just be better off as roommates and not husband and wife. I think that the two of you should just get a divorce because you are already living separate lives. The both of you should feel comfortable moving on and starting new relationships because there is no attraction between the two of you. Everyone deserves to be in a healthy and happy relationship and should find the peson who can provide that to them.

I agree with Wizard_23's answer.
Separate beds or separate rooms doesn't mean you no longer have to take your marriage vows seriously nor does it give you a license to cheat.
If you want to stay married, then you need to discuss this with her and see if whatever is wrong can be repaired. If you want a legal separation or a divorce you should talk to her about that too. Remember, you aren't the only one in this marriage.

Your not separated unless you don't live in the same house. If you want to tell people your separated that would be a lie. Its more honest to say that your no longer intimate.

Yeah, separated from your common sense. Leave the bimbo, let her sleep by herself in her own apartment. Wise up, get a woman, and a bottle of Captain Morgan, and make up for the last ten years, or die trying. Good hunting.

seperated is just that. If you want to truly seperate, you won't compromise with convience. So the answer is no, you're just unhappy

You separated 10 years ago, although not legally. It is called abandonment and is grounds for divorce, but without a legal separation, you are married.

Legally probably not. But why even stay married, separation seems, to me, moot
