Actually, I have around 295,734,134 choices for President.
Just because only a few people are spending millions to advertise that they are running for President doesn't mean my choices are limited to them.
Hence, democracy.

There is a reason for that.
If you see a better kind of toilet paper, it is wise to buy it.
If you see a better presidential candidate from some third party,
it is UNwise to vote for him, because by doing so, you are throwing away your vote and thus making the world worse than if you had
voted for one of the top 2.
That is a fundamental difference. Enough people believe this so
that, e.g. of voters who said they liked Nader best, about 90% voted for somebody else in 2000. Third parties have absolutely no hope of overcoming a 90% desertion rate. That in turn makes
it even less wise to vote for thirdies. Self-reinforcing vicious cycle.
So how can we change this? We need a new kind of voting system in which, like buyng toilet paper, there is no reason not to vote
for your true favorite, because there is no such thing as a "wasted vote." This new voting system is called "range voting."

I recommend endorsing it (click "endorse") or else just
quit complaining that third parties never get anywhere.

That's what usually happens in real world - you get more choices for something that looks as silly as a toilet paper.
I guess, for an ordinary citizen, toilet paper matters more than president (you don't need a president in your daily routine) and that's why you try and look for more alternatives.

Yes. And to be honest, our toilet paper would make a better president than this moron in office now. It does more work in 20 seconds of use than he has his past two terms.

Third parties usually divide a nation's votes allowing for the wrong/ less popular candidate to win. If you are over 35 and a natural US citizen, put your name in.

yes, it is horrifying that we have one more choice for president than Iraq did under the rule of Saddam Hussein. And the choice last time completely sucked. An idiot and a guy that put me to sleep from boredom.

There are many parties, several of whom always run candidates for president. You have every right to vote for one of them. Knock yourself out.
