I wouldn't have the guts to kill....then again, I have a drive to live.....basic instict would probably take over

depends on the stiuation. If it was my friend that I had to kill then no way, but if it was my friend threating to kill me then I would kill them.
also, it depends if I've achieved my goal in life. If I didn't, I would probably kill unless it was my mom or dad or someone really special. If I achieved everything but I was still young, I would step aside and be killed...

No problem there at all. I would kill. In fact, like Andy Capp, I would thump them back first. If it was my Baby I was seeing threatened, I would attack in an instant, even if the threat was minor.

It would be a fight or flight situation and since you were going to be killed if you ran, you would fight - and kill someone if you had to. It is called self preservation!

I would most likely kill. As it is now if someone sneaks up behind me and scares me my first instinct is to hit them and I do. I would fight till the end and I would fight to kill.
