I have registered www.banglored.com 15 days back. Its a new buzz word being used in US to refer to Outsourcing. If someone loses his/her job to India, they say your job has been "banglored".
Its becoming part of their vocab. I wanted to use it to develop a job website or an anti-outsourcing blog or something. However, have been caught up with my job a lot lately. I can sell it to you (not free) but close to free (as little as Rs. 600 i.e13$). If you are interested, ping me.
However, if you are not, there are other things that you can try.
www.phpbb.com offers an open source forum based solution for free.
www.bravehost.com lets you host (or they can make one for you) a free website with their own ads in.

Not sure if you're really looking for a free domain name, a free website, or both. There are lots of places offering free website hosting.
But for domain names, very very few offer such. And even if they do, there ARE strings attached.
Namepros.com offers free .com domain names after earning a number of forum points.

www.freewebs.com is a good one. Although it can't be www.whatever.com or something like that. It has to be www.freewebs.com/whatever or something. But its a good website maker, and you can put chat, games, photos and other randomn things on it. You could also use Yahoos 360 page thing. I can't exactly remember the site, but just go back to the email they sent you and use that link. This one, again, is like nz(or whatever country).360.yahoo.com/whatever. And lastly, you could use windows live spaces. The website for it is spaces.live.com. And the domain is like whatever.spaces.live.com. So there you go.I use all 3.

do a search on the internet for free internet domain name . or you can go to geo city for free web space to build a web page there is a few out there if you look
