Search for your state's age of consent laws.

wow, some people are pretty harsh
this is from a web site: http://www.laborlawtalk.com/showthread.php?t=111163
The legal age of sexual consent for you is 18. You cannot marry in ANY state without parental consent until you have reached the age of 18. You can DATE anybody your parents allow you to date. However, sexual activity is NOT just sexual intercourse. It is any contact intended to elicit feelings of sexual gratification. This may include, but not be limited to kissing, cuddling, holding hands, fondling, oral sex, hugging, etc. ANY CONTACT.
By the way, even if you have your mother's permission, if someone else is uncomfortable with your "relationship", they can file a report with the police. ANYONE else. If that happens, and they feel there is enough to charge your boyfriend, your mother can also face consequences for condoning a relationship that may be judged to be, at the very least, inappropriate, if not down right illegal.
I'm sorry, i know our gov. could get annoying with their interference in our own lives!!

ok i will give you straight info since other people are being idiots on here. You and him are fine as far as age goes. He can only get trouble if charges are pressed which cause would have to be by parents only. I am 17 and my boyfriend is 24. Its cool but i not pregnant. The hospital wont have any problems either so dont worry hun. the important thing is your baby and as long as your parents dont push it you will be fine because the age is perfect and you consented to sex. Much luck to you and baby as well as happy success with your honey

As long as your parents are fine with it then there isn't a problem even if you 2 bear a child together. After all, all that matters is that you 2 love each other. Other than that in most states 17 is legal, I don't know where you are though. Anyway, good luck with your pregnancy and I hope everything works out for you guys!

Well it depends in the state you live in...i know their are a few states who even let you get married at the age of 15 with your parents concent. And yes its true that if your parents press charges he can go to jail. but for the most part as long as your parents dont press charges nothing should happen which i dont think they would because who in their right mind would want their daughter and their grandchild to be fatherless? because he can go to jail for very long time if they do decide to press charges. and once you turn 18 you dont have to worry about any of that.

Depends on what state you are in. I was 19 when I got pregnant and my boyfriend (now ex husband) was 17. I didn't get into any trouble, because in TN there is a 4 year rule.

He most definitely could get in trouble. He might not if no one brings it to the attention of the police. It's the sex with a minor that's illegal, so why were you having sex with him? After a few months you would have been a legal adult. :-o
It's was the wrong thing to do, but you can't go back. Good luck with your child and relationship. I hope everything turns out alright!
God bless!

Proably not.....Your almost 18...Move out with your boyfriend and get married and start your life as a mom and a wife without the help of your parents.
In some states you can get married without anyone signing for you.

Wow, you are too young to be pregnant...have you two used condoms at all? But anyways, he could get in trouble because you are still a minor. It all depends if your parents report him.
