Men are not proactive. He probably already is with someone else but men don't need closure. Woman need closure. When my husband decided to leave and said he wanted a divorce he forgot to mention he had been cheating on me with another woman(I say that word loosely) The first thing I did was file divorce papers. Woman want and need closure do not wait for him to file you are leaving it up to him and you could be waiting a long time. File your papers and move on with your life you deserve a good life.

Why haven't YOU filed? You would have stood a better chance at getting almost ALL of the marital assets had you filed for divorce based on his abandoning the marriage. Now if you file it will probably be just irreconcilable differences. Are you even aware that WOMEN can file for divorce just like men can?

Because it will cost im a fortune if he divorces you child support payments, alimony to him living in another home he is not divorced but he isn't having to pay all those expenses. If i was you I would file for divorce and kick his butt into reality.

He's not going to divorce you, that would mean he'd be responsible for paying!! Then, again, he may be making sure that whoever Ms. Lucky is truly the right one for the time being in case he has to come crawling back from his mistake.

Okay, when you say WALKED OUT, I tke it to mean that you have had no contact with this guy since he left, no phone call, nothing? Right? Well, it could possibly be that he may feel that you are a drain on him. He could be waiting for you to become financially capable to handle yur own, or he just doesnt want to pay for child support and you too.

Is he still claiming you and the kids on tax returns and using you for situations where credit is required ? Just a question, but why haven't you divorced him yet ?

Because he does not want to pay alimony or child support!!!! Hire a paralegal and start the divorce proceedings yourself.

Wow, I am sorry to hear that...one thing could be because he doesn't want to go through the divorce process especially because its a painful process and it costs a lot. Another thing could be that he still loves you?

Because then it will be in black and white and he will be ordered by the courts to pay child support and take care of his responsibilities. The judge will set the amount and he will have to pay or risk jail time.

Yeah, of course. He divorces you, he has to pay you. You're dumb enough or in love enough, (no difference) to let him get by with it. I'll bet he's trying to find himself. Yeah right. Get smart, get a lawyer, and make him show his true self. He already has, you're just not getting it.
