i own a repair shop, and the only ones i know of under the radiator are the transmission lines ,and they wouldn't be leaking anti freeze out of them, unless the cooler is leaking from around the to large nuts that help hold them tight to the radiator,,that's the only thing i can think of that would leak on a Taurus,,and you will have to repair them,,either that or replace the radiator to stop that leak,,you might can tighten them up some,,but be care full the tank on the radiator can crack real easy,,good luck i hope this help,s..have a good x-mas.

The list of parts known to rust, and leak coolant on 1993 Ford Taurus' are as follows: heater hose by-pass tubes, radiator itself. There are no metal lines under the radiator of a 1993 Taurus, other than transmission lines, which doesn't carry coolant.

I agree the define feels like a transmission cooler line to the radiator - i don't think of i've got ever considered coolant dealing with steel strains. i think of the radiator has a leak above the place that line attaches and the coolant is dribbling all the way down to the line you notice. that is going to take getting way up below to verify what is going on if so, yet i've got confidence the radiator is leaking.

there isn't a metal line under the radiator that would leak antifreeze so either thats not whats leaking or its dripping down from somewhere else

Dodge Man is correct. Those metal lines are your transmission oil lines that go to your radiator. They are not leaking coolant. It is coming from somewhere else and leaking onto them so it appears that they are leaking.
Look harder because something else is leaking.

i think the line your talking about is a tranny line.now i have seen metal lines that anti-freeze runs through it,but in your case i think its a tranny line.check the drain plug.it might be leaking down over the line.also you might have a leak where the bottom hose hooks on to.

I SUSPECT ITS THE TRANSMISSION LINE IT CARRIES TRANNY FLUID THRU THE RADIATOR TO COOL THEN RETURNS IT TO THE TRANSMISSION.THEY TEND TO STRIP OUT OR CROSS THREAD BECAUSE OF THE ALUMINUM.
