I never understood why we don't celebrate John Lennon Day on his birthday so we can celebrate his birth instead of remembering the day he was taken away from us. I'd much prefer to say "Happy Birthday John wherever you've gone off to" rather than "it's been 26 years since he was shot dead." We miss you John, still, and can't help but wonder what you might have done in these 26 years.
