it's like they get burnt on the inside a little. I keep the fire low and spray the pan well but it still happens. Are there any tips on keeping them shiny and burn free?

I clean houses for a living and the easiest thing that I found with using the things that most people have around there house is use Windex to get the finger prints and grime off, and then put pledge on a rag and wipe down everything... It works great... I swear by it!!!

I am sorry I thought that you ment appliances... with cookware you need to soak them in salt and white vinegar.... shiny as new!!!

I use to have a hard time with my cookware, until I was told about Barr Keeper, It is the most effective product. Simply rinse the cookware, and sprinkle some on and wash away.

If you want to get rid of the "burnt" add water and put to boil, once it boils...turn stove off and use a plastic spoon to scratch burnt off. Then continue with the previous.

I would also suggest not using sponges that scratch your cookware. A regular sponge will do!

Hope this helps. :)

Bar Keepers Friend is an excellent product and is made especially for stainless steel. It can be found in the same place where you see Comet and the like.
With just a little "elbow grease", it will remove stains or scorch marks really well.
Do use a sponge so as not to scratch your stainless steel.
Good luck!

How old is it? We have some Revere Ware pans that are over 30 years old. My grandmother used to say that once a pan burned, it always would. But to clean it w/ a non toxic cleaner, put a cup of baking soda in water and put on the stove and boil. Wait till it cools off and scrub w/ scotch brite green pad.

Wash the surface with hot, soapy water (dishwashing liquid is fine) and a nonabrasive sponge, working both with and against the grain (yes, stainless steel has a grain) to lift buildup. Dry with a towel. Apply a layer of stainless-steel polish according to the package directions, wiping off any excess immediately. You can get polish at any local hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. With a clean, dry towel, buff the polish into the surface, going with the grain, until it shines and the towel comes away dry.

Satinless steel cookware? Use ScotchBrite scrubbing pads. Pledge, oven cleaner etc? Jesus Christ you're using the things to make food, and while wood polish and heavy acids may taste delicious, they're also poisonous and damage neurons (i.e. higher brain functions, which might be why some people swear by them)

I desire chrome metallic. Its shown to artwork. I examine an editorial those days approximately nonstick teflon coating. It mentioned that someones fowl putting in the kitchen died from the undetected gases launched from the cookware while its heated. exceptionally frightening. Its additionally been correct to inflicting urinary tract problems. i'm no longer announcing that each physique nonstick cookware is undesirable for you, as there are actually many varieties on the marketplace, yet its superb to truly do somewhat learn beforehand you purchase.

Try this cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially windows. They are made out of tiny fibers that work like razor blades. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.
