What do you look for when awarding the best answer BESIDES THE BEST INFORMATION?
I look for -
A. Personal experiance
B. Links that are valid
C. "Has been there" Source (sometimes, if believeable)
I'd like to know how you do it. I obiously know how to choose the best answer, lol

I'd agree with your list. Also, I like originality. Sometimes I look for detail depending on what I asked. Usually I like either supportive or funny answers, again depending on the type of question.

Yes, you choose the best answer according to how that answer suits your intelligence.
Most choose the best answer to suit their own individual interpretations, and/or the easy way out.
Often the Q doesnt fully portray the facts, and sometimes the person asking just wants the easy way out, or someone to give them an answer to confirm the answer they already have.

On an opinion-based question, I usually pick the person who has something different to say, or who has a funny or weird answer.
For factual ones, somebody who is very clear and concise, and provides references.

Depends on the question. All of the above ... yes.
But sometimes if it just tickles me just so,
or touches me somehow.
If hard choice.... who has really been trying
answering alot and I haven't picked,
or who needs the points.

a nice answer for me is insightful, funny and clever, somthing thta makes me think...but if i have a hard time choosing, i will just give it to my friends or level 1 or 2 users

it depends on the question. If I'm asking a serious question, I really like personal experience answers. But if i'm asking a funny question (like 'would you go streaking with me') i LUV hilarious answers (but not inappropriate). :D
