What are some good gift ideas for a 22 year old soldier? (doesn't have to be military related, i'd actually prefer if it wasn't, just telling you something about him) Thankyou.

By the way, he is NOT overseas at the moment.

I see by your other questions that he will be leaving in January.

How about having someone take some home movies of you and him together, laughing, playing, snuggling etc. and burn a dvd of it. When he is away from you, he will be able to view it and keep some good memories close to his heart. Add a section in the film without him in it, to make a personal message to him.

Merry Christmas

Hiya, my husband was in the forces and i always used to send him a framed picture of the both of us together. i also used to write him a letter of memories, such as "Remember when you fell off the bench?" just little things like that will bring a smile to his face. Also send him a list of things that you want to do when he comes home next such as walk along the pier. i know it may sound soppy but when you are apart from one another little things to cheer you up and something for him to look forward to. Perhaps send him some holiday brochures so you can get away for a weekend. Just a thought as i used to send my husband these things and he was only 22, hes out of the army now and hes 25 and he still says those little notes i sent him meant the world to him .

Sorry to hear that he might be leaving.

I would get something made that is a reminder of you two. Then he has something to look at to remember you two.

Possibly a small photo album that he can carry with him. A Love letter that he can read over and over.
Plus maybe some phone cards, as I am not quite sure how he can communicate.

I would suggest anything that expresses your love for him.
