I am asking a serious and honest question so PLEASE give me a serious and honest answer. At my school I've noticed some things that a lot of girl do:

1) During a game like dodgeball, the girls stand together in this tight pack and when one person gets hit, they all just leave.
2) When they see a tiny spider, they freak out.
3) I can't think af anymore because Im really tired, but there are more.

I know not all girls do this, but many do. I have always tred to figure it out, but never gotten anything. Please, I am not stereotyping, just asking a question.

1) because girls stick together. It's just what they do and feel betrayed if they don't. If they go to the bathroom together, usually they want to talk OR they don't want to be the ONLY one leaving the table. Some girls don't like all eyes on them, watching their every move. It makes them feel self-conscious. So if there is more than one girl, not all of the talk will be on her. Also, when a girl is alone, is strongly signifies "ALONE-NESS". They feel more secure when they are together. So at dodge ball.... if one gets hit, they all become annoyed and leave together. That's all.
2) Spiders are gross! They are creepy, can crawl on and bite someone without them even noticing. They are small, so they can go just about anywhere... in your ears, mouth, down your shirt!! No thanks!!! Plus, you never know if it's poisonous! That's why we run!
3) of course there is more, but there are a lot of things guys do, too, that us girls won't probably EVER understand. No matter how hard someone tries to explain! We're just all different... always have and always will be ;)

UNO- They're scared of a rubber ball (might break a nail). Most girls in this case act//are like preps. Talkitive, boy crazy, and they get easily bored. I'm not quite sure why they just leave, but I personally think dodgeball is a blast!

DOS- A lot of girls are scared of 'creepy-crawly' creatures. You show them a spider, they run, and scream for their lives. Nothing new..

TRESS- Not all girls act like this. You see, you have the *non-intelligent* group, and the smart sophisticated group. The non intelligent think they are Oh so pretty, the world revolves around them, they can't catch a football w/o breaking a nail, boy fanatics, ect.

On the other hand..

The intelligent//not very preppy females (in most cases) aren't afraid to catch a ball, hold a tarantula, ect. This doesn't mean were dykes, ((we can still wear make up and such)) it just means.. we're not as "blonde" as some.

*whew* I hope that helped your understanding of why some girls can't act like humans.

Girls stick together...like when one girl won't go to the bathroom unless a friend comes with her. Trust me...nothing kinky happens in that bathroom with the girls together. I think it is just a comfort...like a comfort blanket type of thing.

As for dodgeball, I am assuming you are talking about school dodgeball, you will find it is about being in a 'pack'. If someone stays, they are fleeing from the pack and may be picked on for it. Or worse still, called a lesbians because she enjoys playing sport. Just remember, girls are b i t c h y!

Some girls freak out when they see spiders because they see them as being dirty, gross, icky, creepy. This then follows with an unimaginable scream of fear (normally ear piercing). It is just a natural reaction for a girl to scream. Like I can't help but to laugh if on a really scary rollercoaster or in horror movies. This is just my natural reaction. I don't scream, I giggle.

Let me know when you have some more questions about girls.

1) Girls stand together so they can share their opinion/gossip, not necessarily about the game. When a person gets hit, they would comment something bad about that guy and decide that there's no point in staying to watch.
2) Not all girls freak out when they see a tiny spider, but a lot of people are scared of spiders, even if it is a use-maginifying-glass-small.

-the above is not to insult anyone, it is just my opinion. sorry if i've offend anyone.

Highschool girls act like this because that's how they're told to act by older girls. A lot of people don't like this - but it's not 'girls being girls', it's 'girls being socialized into society's ideal of women'. If other girls didn't make them feel like weirdos for stepping up and competing, they would compete .... But as far as the spider thing goes - some people just have phobias of bugs. I'm fine with spiders - but moths ... ugh! If you'd get to know the girls, you'd see that there's a lot more than the frou frou, afraid to compete, afraid to go to the bathroom alone facade.

First, you noted, yourself, it isn't ALL girls; so that's important.

Some girls, though, may not give a hoot about Dodgeball. Many girls, too, are fairly feminine girls and don't have that "testosterone" boost boys can have (which gives them a little more aggressiveness in games).

Mostly though, I think its that some girls don't care about Dodgeball at all. They play it because its being played. They often feel "above" such games because they can feel they're immature. I remember a very "dolled up" girl in my gym class getting aggravated because a more athletic, masculine, girl kind of "attacked" her to get the basketball. She sarcastically threw the ball up in the air and said, "God. Have that damn ball. She'll practically kill you for the ball!"

Girls mature faster than boys much of the time, and one sign of that is their lack of zeal for physical games. Unless they're the athletic type they pretty much don't give a hoot.

With regard to the spiders - that's probably they're age. Bugs are creepy as far as a lot of girls are concerned. They don't want them on them. They aren't afraid of them, but the creepy factor makes them react to bugs. Maybe girls your age also like to play up the "feminine thing" a little in front of boys too.

Most girls, especially ones who THINK they are popular wouldn't want to paricipate in such a barbaric game such as dodgeball so they look for a reason to forfeit the game. I was once afraid of spiders(and also a big tomboy), but as girls mature they probably will find out there isn't reason to fear such a small creature. In general most girls are just prissy/too cool/immature to talk/interact with the opposite sex normally so they choose to act like stupid little bitches.

Yes she definitely likes you. I'm a girl, I would know. Especially since she touches your leg without moving and always wants to sit next to you. The hair thing isnt really a sign though because its usually an impulse. We just want to get it out of the way. But anyways, she definitely thinks you're cute. You should ask her out.

I don't know about (1), but if (2) is correct, then why am I always the designated spider exterminator in my family when I have 3 older brothers who run and hide behind the sofa? HTH : )

Because they don't like getting hit. Most girls hate insects especially spiders as it creeps them out. I think it has to do with the 8 legs thing.
