It will probably not be noticeably slower, unless you're doing nothing but downloading huge files all the time. :)

I have a wireless router upstairs and my laptop downstairs operates at the same speed as the wired connection... Just place the router so that only one wall or floor is between it and the wireless adapter.

N is suppose to be about 10 or 12 times faster than G. With N you are starting to get real close in speed comparisons with Ethernet.

it should be fine..ys wireless router are coming with max spead..as ur service provider may not be providing that much speed...Example..you have taken 3mbps line, but wire routers you can find 54 mbps and so on...It is not slower at all.
