Hey sweetie
You probably are, but very early in your pregnancy. I hope your parents will be supportive, and wont get him busted for statutory rape.
Good luck in whatever you choose

The best thing I can recommend is a blood test, which your doctor can perform. This way you get it confirmed whether you are pregnant or not.

Sometimes with home pregnancy tests they can be unreliable and give you a false positive/negative, depending on when you take the test and how soon after your missed period you took it.

Have a read of the early pregnancy symptoms located on the weblink below, they may help you out a little bit more.

But either way make sure you discuss this with a doctor to make sure you are not pregnant. If you are not comfortable going alone, take your partner or perhaps one of your parents with you if they are understanding.

I have to say though, unfortunately your parents may not have a good reaction to the news you are possibly pregnant, even though they know you are sexually active. Just remember that they do love you and I'm sure either way they will support you, they may just need some time to recover from the inital shock.

Hun, when you're on your period that's the time you obligate. It's the time you usually get pregnant. However long you haven't had a period, i'd wait till your second month of not having one to take another pregnancy test. If one sai you were pregnant chances are you probably are, but maybe it was wrong. If the pregnancy test says you are pregnant, tell your parents and stop taking the birth control. Birth control can effect the baby. I'm not saying you are pregnant but it sounds like you may be. Good luck hun.

ok...doctors say that birth control may not be effective for the first month. if you have been taking birth control pills, and taking them correctly....then i wouldn't worry. But, if you have missed any pills or taken them not at the same time everyday(depends on which kind) then there is a chance. But, just because you stopped your period doesn't mean that your pregnant. ALso, just because you had your period doesn't mean that your not pregnant. I was 13 weeks pregnant and didn't even know it! at home pregnancy tests don't always work. go to planned parenthood...it is $68 for a blood test, and that will tell you a definite answer.

Ok, I know you don't want to hear this, but you really shouldn't be having sex unless you are ready for the responsibility of probably getting pregnant; which is the situaiton you are in now. But on to the advice...If your parents know you are dating an 18 year old (which is illegal, even if you and your parents consent to it) your parents probably already know you are having sex, the only sure way to know is a blood test (I just got one, it was negative...whew! but I am 26, so its a bit different for me). Anyway, talk to your mom, and let her know you need to go to the doctor. If you don't want to tell her, find your nearest Planned Parenthood. They will be able to do the test for little or no cost because you are so young.
If you do find out that you are not pregnant, just remember the next time you want to have sex, how scared you were of possibly being pregnant. You shouldn't be stressing over something so big when you are so young. Don't date the 18 year old either, he is a creep...and I know you are probably saying he is sweet and blah blah blah, but take it from someone who was in your shoes, all he is doing is taking advantage of you because the only thing, and I mean the ONLY THING HE WANTS FROM YOU IS SEX! IF you were to get pregnant he would deny it was his and let you bare the weight of that burden for the rest of your life without his help. I know you probably won't listen to me, but one day when you are 26, I hope you remember what I said, and I hope you tell a 14 year old who is in the same situation the same thing I am telling you now. You can learn the hard way or you can learn the easy way by taking advice from someone who knows. Trust me.

some signs of pregnancy:

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test: Order my pregnancy test

Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.

Swollen/Tender Breasts:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, impending menstruation (PMS) can also cause your breasts to be swollen or tender.

Fatigue/Tiredness:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.

Other Explanations: Stress, exhaustion, depression, common cold or flu, or other illnesses can also leave you feeling tired or fatigued.

Nausea/Morning Sickness:
This well-known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Food poisoning, stress, or other stomach disorders can also cause you to feel queasy.

Backaches:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout an entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Impending menstruation, stress, other back problems, and physical or mental strains.

Headaches:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Dehydration, caffeine withdrawal, impending menstruation, eye strain, or other ailments can be the source of frequent or chronic headaches.

Frequent Urination:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

Other Explanations: Urinary tract infection, diabetes, increasing liquid intake, or taking excessive diuretics.

Darkening of Areolas:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance unrelated to pregnancy or may be a leftover effect from a previous pregnancy.

Food Cravings:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Poor diet, lack of a certain nutrient, stress, depression, or impending menstruation.

Have a test done by a professional like at Planned Parenthood. That way you will know for sure and can discuss your options. I'm sorry that you were given the parents you have. If you are pregnant, you are considered high risk in which your life as well as the baby's are threatened. Find out right away and good luck.I'm sorry that you have been subjected to such stress at such an early age. Best wishes to you.

I had a false positive test, but don't get your hopes up, they aren't that common. and false negatives happen all the time. even while you are on you're period you can get pregnant. the best thing is for you to tell your parents. if they are open minded enough to let you use birth control and know you are sexually active, then bringing this up shouldn't be that hard. go to the doctor as soon as possible to find out for sure. the earlier you can get to a doc the better.
good luck

stop letting that man put that stuff in you. just because he ejaculated in you while you were on your period does not mean that you are pregnant, but your sure giving yourselves all the ideal situations to get pregnant. it sounds as if you are trying to. so you tested both negative and positive...............the next best thing to do is go to the doctor to get the pregnancy test done through blood work for accuracy. if your gonna have sex at least do it a little more cautiously meaning use condoms with the birth control. just because your on the pill does not give you the okay to be careless. and having sex while your on your period is quite grotesque. hes 18 for crying out loud. hes a man. tell him to act like one and respect your body if hes gonna be having sex with it.
you dont know for sure if this is the man you want a child with at 14, you got a lot of livin to still do and he aint gonna be the only one. im just keepin it real!

well, I've always been told that if you get a positive pregnancy test, see a doctor, this way your doctor can see the levels of pregnancy hormones. It's ok to see him too, cause legally he can't tell your parents, if he does he can loose his job. I was pregnate at the age of 16 and I was so scared. In the end I lost my child at 16 weeks. But it was the hardest thing to go through. I'd suggest speaking to a cousellor if you find yourself stressed out. Good luck.

hi
i want have a go at you
your are young
you should see a doctor or health nurse about this
it could be the birth control affecting you or you could be pregnant
please think carefully about were you go from here
talk to a counciller i know you feel old enough to handle anything at your age but years down the track you may look back and feel you mad a mistake
its about how you will feel about yourself not how anyone else feels or how or what they believe is right - talk to someone please
and be strong you are the only person who has to live with your decision ( except bub if there is one )
never feel pressured to make others happy
again see a doctor or a nurse about this issue
good luck
