Yes to stop behavior like what Bush and Cheney are doing. There was concern in forming our govt. that the president might get too powerful, and so they put in guidelines for removing him if his power went over the line intended by the Constitution. They gave broad definitions for doing so, but also made it so that it would take a solid consensus of 2/3 vote to remove him, so Impeachment could not be done on a whim either.

In democratic nations, there must be a way to democratically overthrow a leader who has done something wrong. Putting this in the constitution clearly outlines what must occur for this to happen, and guarantees that a person in power cannot overthrow the idea of impeachment (unless of course it’s some kind of coup and the constitution is thrown out anyway). It protects the people by allowing the president to be withdrawn, and protects the president so that they aren’t just kicked out because people are mad.

Because in spite of what the left would have you believe our elected leaders are human, they only apear to be the devil or saits on occation, and being human they can be as guilty of breaking the law as any other citizen. But instead of draging their ***'s in front of a court of law they must first be removed from office and so we have the impeachment process. Its that or I slep threw that class as well.
