I have a friend that has been convicted of a child abuse felony in Missouri and he's about to have it dropped from his record. Could he regain custody of his child? We are the foster parents of this child and are about to get guardianship of the child, but we would have no problem giving her back to him once he gets everything ironed out(We have reason to believe he's innocent).

he was convicted of child abuse on another child(choking her) but after investigating further, her mom is actually the one that did it, but its double jeopardy so she can't convicted of it anymore

both the parents were convicted they each got different charges. She got child endangerment and he got the child abuse charge. She got probation he got jail time. Also he took the blame for her, thinking that she would stick by him but unfortunately for him he was wrong on that. There was a coerced confession on his part by the cops that interrogated him.
