Aren't they a powerful intoxicant? I used to take magic mushrooms sometimes and I felt really messed up when I did!
Alcohol is considered a "safe" intoxicant but it can send you to the hospital too.
But as far as I know, marijuana is also a controlled substance . . .

lol Mushrooms are not illegal. In fact, you can buy them at the store. Violating someones rights, body, or property is illegal. Plants, are not illegal. As soon as you accept laws (good or bad) you do not agree with, you are endorsing them. If you feel it is your right to do what you want with your body - so long as it harms nobody else, then do it reguardless of law. Imagine laws passed that ban certian fatty foods (dont laugh, its closer than you think), would you follow them? Imagine a law was passed that said for you to harm every red head you saw, would you follow it? The most rediculous thing with law enforcement, is taxpayer money going to wards banning PLANTS. it shows there are too many police, so much that they must create problems to be the 'magic solution' for.
