My husband is active duty in the Army but we are separated, soon to be divorce, (it was an abusive marriage), but I really wanted to go to the ball. He will probably be there with a date, (his girlfriend). The ball is tomorrow night at the downtown Mariott Hotel in SA, TX. Should I bother to go stag or don't bother at all? Thank you for your opinion. Happy Holidays.

You shouldn't go to the ball at all.

Don't go. But don't stay at home doing nothing either. Go out with friends or invite some over. Just have other people around you so that the night flies by and you have yourself your own good time.

Call a friand, go out to a movie and dinner.

Skip the ball, dear.

A proper lady always goes escorted! And if it is his military dance, why bother being around him or his friends? You'll regret going to this one, just sit this dance out! You'll thank me sunday morning!
