The necklace says- "the LORD keep watch over thee while we are absent one from another" and apparently it comes in two pieces. My love is a soldier and this would be the PERFECT christmas present for him, since most likely we'll be seperated in January :(. thankyou!!!!!

The necklace that you are referring to is called a Mizpah Coin Necklace, don't ask me what that name means, because I have no idea. They can be pretty pricey, and I have seen them in both gold and silver, with silver being the cheaper alternative.

The cheapest I have seen the silver version is just under $35 from Crown Galleries:

Amazon.com sells just the charms, as well as the charms with necklaces, search for Mizpah Coin Necklace on Amazon.com for their full listing of the products that meet that description. Here's one quick search on the charms, and I believe it will link to similar items on the same page.

Shop.com also has it, but they are rather pricey:

Jewelry.com had a selection of them as well:

They come up on Yahoo Auctions and E-bay frequently as well, but you have to know that name Mizpah Coin Necklace, if you hope to catch them on there, and usually the savings are not that great.

Where whatever cross you desire. The cross has been around for thousands of years and has existed in many different cultures even before the life of Christ, so by wearing one, you are not technically a Christian

Have you tried a Christian bookstore? I think I've seen some in there. Or google "Christian jewelry" on the web and see what comes up.
