Hi, guys.
I have 7 coworkers and we are using only single printer, which uses local network with Windows XP.
We are printing a lot of papers everyday, but a certain portions are not necessary. Therefore, I want to know who's doing unnecessary printng everyday. However, I do not know if there is any way for me to identify each computer with numbers or names so that the number or names are appear on the paper they printed.
Anybody can help me to do that?
Thank you in advance!

Usually, if ur printer is new, it has a program that shows what pages, how many copies, and date of the things printed..... Go to the printers and faxes menu (control panel), and look for the file.

In the event viewer where the printer is installed and shared, there will be a log of every thing that is printed. That should tell you all the info that you need.

The end uers would have to print through a print server in order for you to send a cover page.

Try www.softwareshelf.com and look at their print management products
